About
Krista Rooney
On a mission to restore trust—one conversation, one standard, one honest choice at a time.

The story behind the work
Krista Rooney did not set out to build a movement. She set out to tell the truth.
After years of watching the transformation industry reward performance over integrity, she recognized a growing crisis: trust was being eroded by the very people who claimed to be helping others find it. She knew that if trust was going to be restored, it had to start with the individuals doing the work, the practitioners holding space for them, and the systems that govern them.
That belief became the Phoenix Trust Standard™. And the personal side of that belief became STOP PRETENDING YOU'RE FINE—a movement for anyone who is tired of performing healing and ready to practice honesty.
Today, Krista is a media personality, speaker, and writer who helps audiences think more clearly about trust, transformation, and what it means to become someone people can rely on.
Core Values
What guides the work
Truth
We say what is real, even when it is uncomfortable. We do not exaggerate, perform, or hide behind jargon.
Integrity
We align our words, our actions, and our standards. Trust is built when all three match.
Compassion
We hold space for difficulty without becoming casual. We lead with care and clear boundaries.
Courage
We name what others ignore. We are willing to stand for what is right over what is easy.
Humility
We stay open to learning. We do not pretend to know what we have not earned.
Excellence
We do the work well. We do not shortcut the process that produces real transformation.
The Manifesto
- We will stop pretending we are fine.
- We will tell the truth—first to ourselves, then to others.
- We will do the work of transformation with integrity, not performance.
- We will hold practitioners to a standard worthy of the people they serve.
- We will build trust one honest conversation, one earned credential, one responsible choice at a time.
